Jairam Ramesh Calls for United Action on India-Canada and India-US Relations
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has urged Prime Minister Modi to brief opposition leaders on the escalating diplomatic tensions between India, Canada, and the USA. He stressed that the serious allegations against the Indian government, first raised by Canada and now supported by other nations, are damaging India's global image and Brand India. Ramesh emphasized the importance of a united response, urging the government to articulate a clear stance on these issues. He called for collaboration to safeguard India's reputation as a nation committed to the rule of law, especially on matters of national security and foreign policy.
The Indian National Congress has already asked the Prime Minister to take the Leaders of Opposition in both Houses of Parliament, and other political leaders, into confidence on the serious charges leveled against the government of India by USA and Canada.
